How AtaiTec Supports Engineers Around the World, in Four Languages, Around the Clock

Engineers in the US, China, Japan and Korea ask how ISD de-embeds, how to script batch runs and how to get a license. 80% of those conversations happen while the Silicon Valley team is off the clock, and every one of them is answered.
The Challenge
AtaiTec is a Silicon Valley leader in signal-integrity software. Its products, ISD, ADK and MPX, are used by hardware engineers at the world's largest electronics companies, and the questions those engineers bring to the website are deeply technical: how many ports can ISD de-embed, does it account for DUT return loss, how do I drive it from Python.
Most of those questions arrive from Asia overnight, in Chinese, Japanese and Korean, when the California team is asleep. Static product pages and a contact form were the only answer, and a question that waits for the next Pacific business day is a day and a half for an engineer in Seoul or Shenzhen.
The Solution
Fig.1 built a multilingual technical assistant that lives on every page of ataitec.com, including the installer page and the ISD product page where engineers actually work, so a global customer base gets expert answers at any hour.
A Knowledge Base Built From the Documentation
The assistant explains de-embedding, batch workflows, ISD versus ADK and licensing in the engineer's own terms, drawn directly from AtaiTec's product documentation.
Multilingual by Default
An engineer writes in Chinese, Japanese or Korean and gets the answer in the same language. No translation step, no waiting for a regional rep.
On the Pages Engineers Work From
The installer page and the ISD product page account for 39% of all views. The assistant is there when an engineer is mid-task, not just on the home page.
Quote and Contact Flows in the Chat
A license request, a support question or a quote becomes a lead without leaving the page, through a contact form inside the conversation.
Results & Impact
- ✓2,841 unique visitors reached in the first 90 days on pages where the assistant is live.
- ✓80% of conversations happened outside California business hours. Overseas engineers get a technical answer immediately instead of an email the next day.
- ✓Questions arrived in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean and were answered in kind.
- ✓Six contact-form leads came through the chat, including license and pricing inquiries.
- ✓Engineers use the assistant for real technical work: batch scripting, DUT return loss, skew and eye-diagram analysis.
Quantifiable Outcome
80%
of engineer conversations happen outside Silicon Valley business hours, and every one of them gets an expert answer.
Versatile Deployment
This experience can live anywhere: an Instagram link-in-bio, website pop-up, trade-show QR code, email campaign, multilingual microsite, or embedded in a brand partner portal. One build, multiple channels.
